During this time, Dr. Zarei was awarded the Best Surgery Resident award for academic excellence in cutaneous surgery.Dr. Zarei, completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Reconstructive Surgery at the Emory School of Medicine, one of the top programs in the country for skin cancer treatment. Mohs surgery is the most effective treatment for non-melanoma skin cancers and offers the highest cure rates. Dr. Zarei, has performed hundreds of Mohs procedures and skin cancer reconstructions to restore the skin’s appearance following cancer removal.Dr. Zarei has contributed to 42 published research papers in scientific journals and has presented at national dermatology conferences. She is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and other professional societies.Dr. Zarei is committed to providing patients in Laguna Niguel with the most advanced, patient-centered dermatologic care.
