Dr. Amir Kazim is a general dentist at Anderson Family Dental whose career blends compassion, precision, and just the right amount of humor. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Kazim’s passion for dentistry was sparked early while observing his mother transform patients’ lives in her downtown dental practice. That early inspiration led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in 2014. Since then, he has gained experience across multiple states—including California, New York, Washington, and Florida—working in clinical care, dental audits, teledentistry, and organized dentistry. Now settled in Irvine with his wife Aida and their spirited young daughter, Dr. Kazim is proud to serve the Lake Forest community, where he recently acquired his practice.Dr. Kazim is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He currently serves as President of the Harbor Dental Society, is a delegate to the California Dental Association (CDA), and participates on the American Dental Association’s Council on Communications. Whether he’s mentoring new dentists, fine-tuning a crown margin, or leading policy discussions, his focus remains the same: elevating the patient experience and pushing the dental profession forward. Outside the operatory, you’ll likely find him enjoying strong coffee, advocating for ethical dentistry, or trying to explain flossing (again) to his toddler.
